Before even thinking of Lost Ark Gold undertaking special missions, players must be granted the access they need to an area of strength within Lost Ark. This happens by the time the player has completed the main storyline and has completed the quest known as "Eadalin's Gift." The stronghold has an operational dispatch station that players can utilize to dispatch ships on missions for a specific amount of time in real-world.
If the player has an available ship and crew for normal missions, they are immediately available to be deployed.
